with Ron Kindig
Is your city on water rationing yet? If not, it may soon be. Join Ron Kindig for his media presentation showing tips and plants that save water in the landscape. As UC Berkeley points out, “Most gardens use 40% more water than they need.” Ron will be showing the use of a water probe to avoid overwatering, which can damage plants. This will be followed by showing attractive plants which use the least amount of water from the Garden’s publication, 128 of Our Best. Handouts listing the plants will be provided. The presentation will be followed by a free tour of the Garden, where these same plants have been marked with yellow flags.
